About

Hi there!

My interest in medical art was spurred in junior high after discovering my dad’s copy of “The Johns Hopkins Atlas of Human Functional Anatomy,” illustrated by Leon Schlossberg. After attending the University of Pittsburgh and earning a degree in anthropology and studio arts, I received my MA in medical and biological illustration at the Johns Hopkins University. Through my graduate studies, I garnered skills in research, digital illustration software, graphic design, and animation. As I begin my professional career, I look forward to continuing to grow as an artist and researcher and use my artistic skills to accurately and aesthetically clarify complex scientific topics for all.
